My grandmother had gone to Penn State University 1918-1921. I have 45 letters that were written by Ian Reynolds mostly 1919-1920. Apparently they were engaged but I have a feeling Ian did not have enough money to continue his education. Looking up his name on Ancestry I found he had gone in the Navy. Some of the letters were from when he was in.
It really seemed like they had a wonderful relationship and they parted as friends. I have just been wondering if any letters remain from Helen Field in the collections of Ian's information. I see he died in 2010 at 108 years old. The write up in find a grave really contained a lot of the same information in his letters. He must have had a good life with his wife of 61 years.
My name is David Rehrig my phone# is 484-553-2863 email rarebear66@aol.com wonder also if anyone would be interested in the letters he had sent. they did show a lot of his life at Penn State.

Hello,
My name is Rennee and I am trying to find information on my 3X great grandfather Nathaniel S. Reynolds and his parents. He was born about 1811 in New York. He married Janette Markham in 1834 in Stafford New York. He and Janette had five children, Anna Maria Reynolds Adams (My great great grandmother), Alvira, Almira (twins), Polydore "Fred", and Mary. I have Nathaniel and family living in Ovid Branch County Michigan in the 1860 census. He enlisted in Sept. 1864 in the 8th Reg, Co. D Cav. He died on 1 Feb 1865 and is buried in Nashville TN. His FamilySearch ID # is LB95-DP3.
Any information is greatly appreciated.

I am researching the family of Phineas Reynolds (b. 23 Feb 1768, Exeter, Rhode Island), who married Dorcas Northup on 25 October 1790, reported as occurring in North Kingstown, Rhode Island. The Reynolds Family Association Centennial Collection (1992) gives Dorcas’s birth as 20 August 1771, North Kingstown, but the entry does not state the underlying source for either the birth date or the marriage.
I am writing to ask whether the RFA retains, or can point me to, the original submission or documentation supporting this information—such as a family Bible record, church register entry, town/civil record, or correspondence—or whether this entry was reprinted from a specific earlier RFA Annual, in which the source may have been cited.
For context, Dorcas Northup is identified in compiled Reynolds materials as the wife of Phineas Reynolds, and her parents are given in other genealogical sources as Zebulon Northup and Mary (Cole) of North Kingstown. I am trying to document the evidentiary basis for Dorcas’s reported birth date and the 1790 marriage at a lineage-society standard.
Any guidance on the provenance of this data, or direction to relevant RFA archival materials or Annuals, would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much for your time and assistance

Good Morning Cousins, I continue to search for the parents of William Reynolds (RFA Line 037) who married Jane Milliken on August 23, 1790 in what is now Greene County, Tennessee. We have located a brother, Henry Reynolds, c1778-1849. He appeared in KY shortly after it became a state, and the first official record we were sure belonged to him was his marriage to Nancy Sallee in 1808. William died in Bedford County, Tennessee. Most of his children moved to Jackson County, Alabama from there and then spread out.
I'm hoping that one of my many cousins who share yDNA with me, and knows more about it than I do, to help me extend my search and locate the parents of William.
